One Love Manchester

Last night I had the privilege together with the world to be part of a moment that has just became history, the ” One Love Manchester” concert.

The beautiful artist Ariana Grande organized a concert in order to remember the terrorist attack who killed and injured many people during her concert in Manchester few days ago  but also to remember all the victims of any terrorist attack. She wasn’t the only performer, in fact many artist decided to participate and to spread with their song their idea of love and union, like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Little Mix, Coldplay, Liam Gallagher, The Black Eyed Peas and many more. Most of them prepared a speech but what really touched me was their capability, throughout their singing, to make everyone so emotional to make us feel part of that moment. Some of them really touched our hearts and made us cry. My favorite moments were without any doubts the Singing Choir, Viva la Vida by Coldplay and One last time, which many didn’t know was the song that ended the tragic concert of the 22nd of May.

The major message that passed through was that love is bigger and stronger that any possible anger or evil in the world.

Concerts are THE place where we can feel free, at home, loved, united and most of all from where we should go home without our voices, not our lives.

The audience was participating actively, without any doubts the city of Manchester and its inhabitants were able to spread a strong message, they were able to show everyone their strength and willingness to survive and fight.

I hope that the 4th of June 2017 becomes a day that we remember, that becomes a part of our history that the schools will teach and explain to the children how brave humanity was in that day, how music was able to heal from the pain and how it was a form of conciliation.

The day in which humanity decided to fight with love and not with hate.
